Final Spot test

The final step in setting up a Spot is a function test, ensuring that the transmitter charges the user’s device and that the Chargifi platform captures that a charging session is happening in real-time.

To test a Spot, place a Qi-enabled mobile device (or plug in a Chargifi Key) on the Spot. Tap on “Start Test”, and ensure that the device is physically charging while the Mobile Installer App checks that the Chargifi platform has registered the session. If the test is successful, a green success message will appear and the user will be brought back to the Spot installation list. Otherwise, an error message will appear, and the user will be prompted to try again.
