An Internet of Things (IoT) wireless charging unit with which consumers can wirelessly charge their mobile devices while service providers can use the related data that is captured in the Cloud to inform business decisions.

• Ideally, it has fixed furnishings so that the Spots, once installed and deployed, can be monitored properly and analytics data is accurate (moving the sub-surface or through-surface Spots is not advised, as remote management can become difficult)
